How did you start at Cosentino?

I started as a Promotor at Cosentino in Anaheim, CA in 2009. Over a three year period in Anaheim I had the title of Promoter, Sales Representative and Account Manager. In 2012 I took a new position on the National Accounts team and relocated to Houston TX. For the last four years I have been part of this exceptional team that works to grow our business with National Home Centers; Lowe’s, Home Depot, Home Depot Canada and a few others.

How did Cosentino become the worldwide leader in your opinion?

In my opinion Cosentino has become the worldwide leader due to the companies leadership and vision. That vision has pushed Cosentino to stay at the forefront of product innovation in both new product categories and product design. The vision of meeting customers where they do business has been key in growth. As Cosentino Centers continue to be added globally, we continue to improve our ability to reach and meet the needs of our customers.

¿Cómo comenzó tu carrera en Cosentino?

Mi carrera comenzó hace casi 4 años. Para mi fue un regalo de Dios, el tener la oportunidad de trabajar en Cosentino. Empecé a trabajar en el departamento de faturación, poco después tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en el Departamento de Exportación y actualmente como Front Office Brasil/Latam.

Creo que Cosentino es lider porque es una empresa que tiene inversiones y constantes innovaciones, siguiendo las tendencias del mundo moderno, pero sobre todo es una empresa que toma muy en serio todos sus valores y lo mas importante es la atención y dedicación que tiene con cada uno de sus empleados, socios y clientes, lo que hace que cada uno, se comprometa a trabajar para que esta empresa sea grande en su mercado.

How did you start at Cosentino?

I started in October 2008 as a “Cosentino promoter” in Paris area, today this position does’nt exist anymore , now we have account managers. I was the first employee in france, so I can really see the development of Cosentino from 2008 to now, that ‘s quite incredible when I think about our very beginning in the French market.

Because of our strategy! We are the only one to promote our products on the field in the way we do! A hudge presence on the K&B studios with marketing tools, displays, samples, and our relatinships with them; this is the secret!

Clientpartner is the key of success for me and the one I fell more comfortable with, because as soon as the client (K&b or fabricator) understand that we can be a fantastic partner to make them grow and to make part of the marketmakers, I think it’s the best achievement!

How was your beginning with us?

In 2009 I have first come across Cosentino while working as a project manager for a contractor company. The beautiful design, colors and quality of Cosentino’s products have immediately attracted my attention, as well as the amiability of their people. I was most pleased to have been offered a position in Cosentino Team Italy and in 2016 the opportunity to work as the general manager at our Stuttgart Centre in Germany.

Every day more and more companies are copying our products and our market model. That is why we need constant product innovation, outstanding design and performance to ensure our competitiveness in the markets.

Apart from love, trust is the most important thing parents can offer their children. I see Cosentino as a big family, my family, so in many ways it prospers from each other’s reliability. As for our friends, we must also be reliable for our customers in order to gain their trust and their confidence for our products.

How was your beginning with us?

It has always been interesting to me that I have worked within the stone industry for so many years – because actually my father sold marble in the UK when I was little, but I never expected to be involved in the same world!
After completing a multi-media degree I started working in the industry at a Stone Mason’s and then I was lucky enough to be asked by Cosentino to take over the Marketing and Communications.
Back then it was just one office – and now we are 7 large depots and growing every day!

What do you think is key to survive being leader on the quartz market?

Although there is more than one factor, I think the main key is to be ready to adapt to what the market wants, maybe before it even realizes it wants it! One of my favourite parts of working for Cosentino is the ability to grow and change within an ever-evolving world, whilst always keeping hold of consistent values. Cosentino is always working ahead of the game to be the pioneer is quartz surfacing. That takes bravery, passion and faith.

Obviously, we are all made up of many important elements that make us who we are. For me, one of the most important elements as a Cosentino employee, but also as a person, is honesty. Being honest with myself first, and then weaving it throughout my day to day life is something that is of importance to me. To create trust, loyalty and growth you have to offer an honest, clear message. When people trust you, they listen to you.
